I've been in sales for 35+ years and never sold anything to anyone, BUT...

I've been in sales for 35+ years and never sold anything to anyone, BUT…

I've helped a lot of people with so many things, for example:

• I've helped them to select clothes that made them look and feel great

• I've helped them choose the most reliable domestic appliances that would do the best job at the most competitive price

• I've helped them find their perfect home within their budget

• I've helped them plan for their children's school fees

• I've helped them plan for their retirement

• I've helped them plan to ensure their family's financial security should they die prematurely

• I've helped them avoid long delays for treatment on the NHS with private medical insurance

• I've helped business owners create successful marketing campaigns

• I've helped companies understand how their salespeople could be selling a lot more

• I've helped salespeople understand how they could sell so much more

• I've helped people who wanted their own business to set up or buy a business

And I've helped them with oh so many other things!

But I never sold anything to anyone.

I did however help them to buy by asking if they'd like to go ahead with my suggestions, the investment, or the purchase. And they usually appreciated the help and went ahead.
