When someone has said 'NO' to your sales proposal, I doubt that they've ever said "No, I don't want it now or ever in the future, and don't even think about contacting me again!"

When someone has said 'NO' to your sales proposal, I doubt that they've ever said “No, I don't want it now or ever in the future, and don't even think about contacting me again!”

So, if they haven't said that, what does 'NO' really mean?

DOUBLE, TRIPLE, OR QUADRUPLE YOUR SALES

Join other small business owners who are benefiting from new sales & marketing skills.

If you're reasonably sure your prospect could benefit from whatever you are selling, in my book it means 'No, not yet'.

Yet could be in 7 days time, 7 weeks time, in 7 months time, or maybe even in a couple or more years.

So, stay in touch with them!

Send the emails and letters (yes- snail mail), with relevant and useful information on their interests without overtly selling. Send information on your product and how it is helping others without overtly selling. Make an occasional sales telephone call and … you know what to do!

Just don't forget, 'NO' usually means 'NOT YET', so stay in touch!
