Is cold Facetime creepy?

A lot of sales reps are using Facetime and cold facetiming rather than just cold calling. And they're using it very successfully too.

According to one poll, seven in 10 sales reps already call their prospects' personal cell phones. So, if you're already calling a prospect's cell phone, is Facetiming them all that different?

Some reps think the video component is a problem and a video call is too intrusive. So, how about using a FaceTime Audio Call.

The way I view it, Facetime Audio Calls are the exact same thing as calling somebody's phone; it's just like a normal cold call.

Why not give it a try. After all - it will make you stand out, and certainly until it does becomes the norm.
